Duo sing at folk club
Penny Davies and Roger Ilott will be performing at the Troubadour Folk Club in Woy Woy from 7pm on Saturday March 25.
Davies and Ilott's music spans folk and country, according to club president Mr Michael Fine.
"They have reinvigorated the bush ballad, kept alive the protest song, and have celebrated all that it means to be Australian without a cork hat, lager phone or phoney accent on the horizon.
"Davies has one of the richest voices in Australian folk and country music; and when you add in the integrity of Ilott's gentle delivery, you have the best harmonies you're likely to hear."
Tickets will be selling for $10, $13 and $15.
